NEW YORK (ABP) -- As the calendar pages turn inexorably toward Sept. 11, New York City is preparing for a flood of solemn remembrances prompted by the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack that claimed 3,000 lives and launched a decade of angst and uncertainty in the world’s most typically resilient nation.
