HOUSTON (ABP) -- One in five Americans surfing the Internet is looking for romance, according to a recent poll -- and online dating appeals even to young ministers, who due to their vocation must be wary about looking for love in the wrong places.

OLSO, Norway (ABP) -- Leaders of the Baptist Union of Uzbekistan are claiming continuing harassment by the country's legal system and a media campaign intended to smear the group as a dangerous cult that targets children for proselytizing.

ATLANTA (ABP) -- The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship will focus its rebuilding efforts in Haiti in the city of Grand-Goave, a place near the epicenter of the Jan. 12 earthquake that had about 95 percent of its buildings destroyed, leaders said Feb. 19.

ATLANTA (ABP) -- Don Durham, president of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Foundation since 2002, is stepping down from the post at the conclusion of the 2010 General Assembly June 23-26 in Charlotte, N.C.
