(ABP) -- Is God punishing Haiti for worshiping the devil? Pat Robertson claims that Haiti’s founders, 200 years ago, made a pact with Satan for which the island's 9.7 million inhabitants are now facing the wrath of God in the form of Tuesday’s devastating earthquake. (ABP) -- When I left seminary, I was just dying to get into a pastorate so I could try out all the good ideas that had been germinating through all those hours and hours of sitting in a seminary classroom. (ABP) -- Intolerance of intolerance abounds. You've heard about Brit Hume's now famous (or infamous) recent comment regarding Tiger Woods' spiritual life: "He's said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be, 'Tiger, turn your faith, turn to the Christian faith, and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.'"

(ABP) -- Commentator Brit Hume recently made a statement on “Fox News Sunday” that has evoked vigorous debate in the media and in employee break rooms. To quote Hume: "Tiger Woods will recover as a golfer. Whether he can recover as a person I think is a very open question. It's a tragic situation. He's lost his family. It's not clear to me whether he'll be able to have a relationship with his children. But the Tiger Woods that emerges once the news value dies out of this scandal, the extent to which he can recover, it seems to me, depends on his faith. He's said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith.
