ABP's 20th Birthday Celebration and Founders Award Dinner honoring Charles Overby 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 21, 2010 Nashville, Tennessee Maddox Grand Atrium in the Curb Event Center at Belmont University Join the Board of Directors, staff and Friends of ABP as we . . . • Champion the crucial role of a free press for Baptists and other Christians. • Commemorate ABP’s first two decades as an independent religion news service. • Present the Founders Award to Charles Overby, in recognition of his contributions as chairperson of ABP’s founding Board of Directors. Overby is chairman and CEO of the Freedom Forum, an independent, nonpartisan foundation dedicated to First Amendment and media issues. He also directs the work of the Newseum, an interactive museum of news in Washington, D.C. • Honor the Baptist state paper editors who stepped forward 20 years ago to establish ABP. • Recognize ABP’s charter board members and other past members of the Board of Directors.
