Gray resigns Alabama CBF job to take full-time pastorate Print E-mail

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (ABP) -- Mart Gray, who has served for eight years as the coordinator of the Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, has resigned to become the full-time pastor of a new church.

Gray has served part-time as pastor of Covenant Community Church in Elba, Ala., since it was founded in 2004. Prior to joining Alabama CBF's staff, Gray had served as minister of music in four other churches.

A native of Wetumpka, Ala., Gray is a graduate of Samford University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Mary Hill Gray, have two sons.
