Fire destroys church, just days before Christmas

The sanctuary of Grundy Baptist Church in southwest Virginia was destroyed Dec. 15 by a fire which also seriously damaged the church’s educational building and parsonage. The structure, built by the 108-year-old church in the 1950s, is a total loss, fire officials said. Read More
